About LACK

LACK (Lobbying Against Climate Knowledge) is a research project developing a knowledge graph of the individuals and organisations involved in lobbying against climate science awareness and climate policy. It is part of the ClimateSense project at the Knowledge Media Institute (KMi).

The knowledge graph is built from a large corpus of real-world relation expressions extracted from investigative journalism sources, and is described using a purpose-built lightweight ontology.

Status

LACK is an active research project. Version 1.0 of the knowledge graph was released on 23 April 2026, comprising. The project is currently a resource paper submission to ISWC 2026.
